• x ... cutter tool
• m ... spacer tool (moves everything behind the clip you move)
• shift + r ... slice

Project > Project settings: set video preset (fps etc)

R-click > Ungroup the clips (or CTRL-Shift-g) ... to separate the audio clip from the video

Reduce length of images in timeline

1. put all your images into a folder (I think all pngs have to be in one folder, all jpgs in another folder, etc)
2. r-click the project window and do ‘Add Image Sequence’ and select your folder, then dropdown to select Frames and do 1 frame

• AppImage from https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/ 19.12.3
• sudo apt-get install kdenlive (for new version, because 19.12.3 doesn't seem to render mp3s on this OS)
